Because of the abuse that many webmasters have done, Google has changed the weight of the Keyword Meta Tag. It is a firm belief that you can build a reputation that over time Google will take your word about keywords if all pages Keyword Meta Tags are prominent keywords in the page/article.
Google will crawl your pages individually over time, and store its own Keywords of that page. If your Meta Tag continually matches Google’s, then Google is more likely to take your word for granted.

Successful and sustainable Search Engine Optimisation is achievable only if you can build that relationship that Google believes you are not a spammer.

Optimisation Introduction

Search Engine Optimisation takes the form of many techniques. These range from on site optimisation (Article Structure, Content, Quality, Originality, Site Setup and many more) and off site optimisation (Backlinks, General PR, Site Trustworthiness)

We will use a generic Hypothetical example in all Search Engine Optimisation posts to keep a standard for ease of following.

Let’s say we would like to optimise for “Optimisation” I use this as it is the topic and will be easy to follow.

Basically, when a random internet user type in the phrase “Optimisation” we want Google to say “Hang On!!!! I got just the website for that” and then show my site/page featuring Optimisation.

Google is the entry point for 70% of all internet traffic. This is why most gear themselves to optimisation on Google rather than others like Yahoo etc. If we can have our page for optimisation shown in the top 10 of a Google search, that’s 70% of the people looking for that topic. You cannot get any better Potential customers.

Google Stats and Figures.

The averages are that 80% of people that search on Google will click and view the top result. This is the be all and end all of any Search Engine Optimisation Program. This is the main reason we are optimising to get to page 1 on Google.

In a recent post on How to beat the Bookies, we touched briefly on the basics of earning money and guaranteeing yourself a profit using two independent bookmakers when, between the two, you can bet them to broke.

Meta Keyword Tag Incorrect Usage

It is a common misconception that if you just load your “Keyword Meta Tag” with the keywords that you are targeting, you will rank in Google. I often see pages with duplicate keywords, for example, “make money, how to make money online, make money at home, make money on the internet. As you can see here, make money is loaded into every keyword. This is a waste, and effectively destructive to everything that you are trying to do. We have to remember that we are trying to do this long-term, and results aren’t seen for at least 6 months.

Google crawls your page, and generates its own keyword list. If that doesn’t match your Keyword Meta Tag, then there is a problem and if this continues to happen, Google will not trust your pages. Remember, the only way is to convince Google that you are what you say you are and assist the search engines to resolve search queries.

There are no shortcuts, just keep plodding away doing the right thing and over time it will pay off.

Meta Keyword Tag Correct Usage

The Meta Keyword Tag is where you will put in the keywords of the specific article.

Generally a comma separated list of keywords that are relevant to the article. You need to see what words are most prominent in the article.

Try avoiding duplicating the same word(s)

These are old misconceptions that the internet allows us to prove wrong.

The internet revolutionised the bookmaking industry as you no longer have to go from 1 bookmaker to the next to find the “Best Price”. What has assisted the traditional bookmaker allowing them to reach so many more customers, has also been to their detriment.

What is Arbing, or Arbitrage betting?

As we all know, bookmakers lay bets with an Over-Round. This Over-Round is the bookmakers edge against you. That is why the bookmaker will always beat you. There comes a time when using the internet that 2 Bookmakers, independent of one another have 2 different prices. When taking the best price of each bookmaker, the Over-Round is nullified and the 2 Bookmakers prices create an effective “Under-Round". Having a bet on opposite sides with each bookmaker can “In This Situation” guarantee a profit. You will lose 1 of the bets if its a 2-way market but will show a net Profit.

This method is referred to as Arbing The Bookies. Basically your are effectively playing 1 bookmaker against the other.

Keys to Arbing The Bookies

There are a few conditions that you need setup.

1. Firstly you need multiple Bookmaker Accounts.
2. You also need to have decent arithmetic skils
3. You need a Bankroll in each of the accounts.
